We are excited to announce that Elmira District Community Living (EDCL) has partnered with the Tim Hortons – Elmira franchise for the Smile Cookie Campaign from April 29th to May 5th, 2024. This is a fundraising initiative by restaurants across Canada, whereby 100% of sales from uniquely decorated cookies are donated to over 600 local charities and community groups selected by Tim Hortons restaurant owners. In 2023, $19.7 million was donated to charities, hospitals and community groups across Canada. In the Waterloo region alone, $42,000 was raised.
This is the first of a multi-year partnership between EDCL and Tim Hortons, and we are seeking your endorsement of this fundraising drive. Your support can amplify the campaign’s reach, as we intend to raise awareness across Elmira and surrounding communities.

- During the week of April 21st and 27th, we would like to inquire whether you can share our flyer on your social media channels encouraging your followers to purchase their cookies during the week of April 29th to May 5th, with proceeds going to the EDCL. Cookies cost $2.00 each.
